Have you ever had your massage delivered to you? Here’s what To Expect! You don’t have to drive to the spa. Sharon can bring your massage to you at your location, along with her portable massage table, professional massage linens, high-quality massage oil, essential oils for aromatherapy, and a variety of instrumental relaxation music.
Interview: Sharon will interview you before beginning your massage to determine your goals, focus, and expectations for your session.
Preparation: You can best prepare for your massage by taking a warm shower and cleansing your body from the neck down to the feet. You can skip the hair.
Privacy: It is not necessary for you to change into a robe or towel prior to your massage. You will begin by undressing in complete privacy and laying face down on the massage table underneath the top sheet.
Please note: Sharon has more than one table, based on client need, so if your weight is greater than 250 lbs., let her know so she can bring her sturdier portable table.
Travel Radius/Travel Fees: Sharon travels within a 14.99-mile radius of her home base with no travel fee. A travel fee of $10 dollars applies for locations 15-miles away. Additional mileage is calculated at $1/mile for a maximum distance of 30 miles. Clients located more than 30 miles away are typically referred to a therapist in that area.
Forms of Payment Accepted: Cash or personal checks accepted from year-round residents and seasonal homeowners only. Cash preferred for out of town guests but credit cards are also accepted.
Insurance: Patients with insurance, a prescription for massage, or a Workman’s Comp Claim will be issued a receipt upon request for reimbursement from the insurance carrier or Personal Injury Protection claim.
Booking: Sharon recommends booking your massage at least 24-48 hours in advance, but booking a week in advance will greatly increase your chances of receiving your desired appointment time.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your massage, please do so within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment.
